Forestal Sylvis’ Social Impact Through the Poverty Stoplight
Forestal Sylvis partners with Fundación Paraguaya to implement the Poverty Stoplight, a tool that helps families self-assess their quality of life across 50 indicators—from income and health to education and personal development. Each family builds a personalized life map and receives support to reach their goals.
In Caazapá, the program has already led to a 900% increase in families with clear life plans, a 121% improvement in access to healthcare, and an 86% drop in untreated dental issues.
In Ybycuí, where the initiative has been running longer, key poverty indicators have dropped by 66%, and new entrepreneurship programs are thriving.
